Genesis is an exploratory program designed for students in grades 3–12 who are new to TheGifted Arts. Genesis is where growth begins. Rooted in the power of the performing arts, Genesis is a bold and nurturing space for 3rd through 10th-grade students to explore dance, step, and the art of becoming.

This in-person program is more than movement. It’s a space where young people build confidence, find community, and discover who they are on and off the floor. With a structured yet gentle pace, Genesis is perfect for students new to TheGifted Arts or those seeking a more intimate experience with high expectations and deep support.

What happens in Genesis?
Students train in the foundations of performance—rhythm, movement, expression—while also engaging in guided activities that strengthen self-worth and interpersonal skills. Every session is infused with cultural pride, creativity, and mentorship from coaches who care deeply about the whole child.

Who is it for?
Genesis welcomes students of all experience levels. From the curious beginner to the returning performer, this is a place to be seen, supported, and celebrated.
