Rooted in rhythm, movement, and mindset, GiftedAcademy 101 is more than a dance and step class. It’s a bold, nurturing space where confidence is built, voices are activated, and community is real. With a structured yet gentle pace, this in-person program is ideal for students who are easing into performance, managing multiple priorities, or simply need a culturally grounded space that understands their perspective.

What happens in 101?
Students train in performance foundations—movement, expression, and rhythm—while also engaging in guided activities that strengthen self-worth, cultural pride, and interpersonal skills. Each session is led by mentors who care deeply about the whole child.

Who is it for?
This program is intentionally designed for students new to TheGifted Arts community. Whether they’re just starting their arts journey or returning after a break, GiftedAcademy 101 offers a consistent, welcoming space where they can grow at their own pace.

Why 101?
Because not every artist starts at the same time—but every artist deserves a strong beginning. Unlike our yearlong GiftedAcademy, which follows a detailed and sequential curriculum, GiftedAcademy 101 allows students to enter at multiple points during the season without missing key development milestones.
