When asked:  What is at least one aspect of TheGifted Arts mission/model that excites you most? Why did you elect to join the Board?    He answered:  As a child, I was unable to join the Cub Scouts as a youth in Garner, because my mother, Pearlean, a single parent could not afford the uniform. I did not have an uncle, church member, or neighbor to bridge that gap. TheGifted Arts is bridging that gap in my hometown, and I want to assist.
